John is co-owner of Merit Insurance Group. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1987 and brings a wealth of insurance knowledge to the agency. John likes being an independent agent since it gives him the opportunity to work for the client. He also likes the personal touch of being a small business owner.

When not in the office, John likes spending time with his family and following the Chicago Blackhawks. One of John’s favorite quotes is by Wayne Gretzky, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
